Job Description

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment and selection process in a timely manner, including creation and management of job requisitions, advertising, applicant screening and interview coordination, background screening processes, hiring and on-boarding candidates.

  • Ensure interviewers are properly trained, and that candidates have a positive experience during site visits.

  • Participate in campus recruiting events, career fairs and job fairs to promote Kaba Ilco as an employer of choice.

  • Partner with Marketing to ensure current promotional materials.

  • In partnership with line leaders, ensure job descriptions are current and comprehensive.

  • Negotiates with recruiters and maintain contracts

  • Develop relationships with external organizations, post-secondary/vocational institutions, military and community organizations and community advocates, schools and other interested parties to identify and develop candidates for intern or full-time vacancies.

  • Responsible for compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements; stay abreast of legislation changes that affect the HR employment function.

  • Respond to unemployment claims and draft Department of Labor inquiry responses.

  • Responsible for government reports, including EEO-1, and internal Sustainability reporting.I-9 compliance, and records retention and maintenance.

  • Manages temporary/contract worker program and employee uniform program.

  • Facilitate new-hire orientation sessions monthly.

  • Assist with employee relations, including employee engagement efforts, conflict resolution, investigations.

  • Lead planning and coordination of employee events and recognition programs.

  • Manage termination/exit process, including exit checklists, exit interviews and offboarding in HR and IT systems.

  • Summarize trends periodically to Sr. HR Manager.

  • Maintain HR report card metrics, along with employee movement logs, and voluntary EEO information.Prepare and/or audit monthly financial headcount reports.

Job Requirements

B.S. in Human Resources or Business Administration or equivalent experience in the HR function; specialized training and professional certifications are a plus

At least 3 years of Talent Acquisition experience in structured companies, possibly with a matrix organization and international footprint
