Brentley is the Founder and CEO of Diverse Legacies, a financial services consultant firm located in the Raleigh-Durham area serving business owners in three critical areas within their business. Emerging as an executive consultant and leader in the financial services industry, his passion is to provide support to business owners in an isolated world that commands much of their attention. Saturated with more than 300 years of experience combined in his field with professional experts, Diverse Legacies specializes in Working Capital, Risk Management, and Exit Strategy. All three components help a business owner sustain their legacy and impact. In addition to his work, he serves as the Advisory Council Member for the North Carolina Financial Literacy Council, Financial Director for the Accelerating Men Mentoring, Inc. and as a Regional Partner for The National Partnership of Economic Development Eco-Systems.

Julia has extensive experience in operational efficiency, marketing strategy and relationship management. She studied at Robert Morris College as a Communications major in Pittsburgh, PA and began her career as an Industrial Engineering Technical Writer and Documentation Manager for multi-million dollar projects with US Steel’s American Bridge Division.
Julia is Lean Six Sigma certified and has a passion for continuous improvement. Julia is a S.C.O.R.E. small business mentor and serves as Chair the Raleigh Chapter. She also is a volunteer with Haven House Family Services on the Marketing Committee.
‘Ready or Not: Tax Time Is Coming’ – Rhoda G. Melvin
Rhoda graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a B.S in Accounting and a Masters in Taxation from the University of New Haven. Her passion for taxation and compliance landed her a position working as a Revenue Agent for the Internal Revenue Service.
Rhoda decided to work in her area of expertise and specialize in forensic accounting. She returned to school in 2013, to obtain her Masters in Forensic Accounting from Stevenson University and now operates her own practice, Marho Financials, in Sanford, NC.
Rhoda is committed to the development of small businesses and women’s empowerment. As a Certified Fraud Examiner and a licensed Enrolled Agent practicing before the IRS, Rhoda utilizes her experience and knowledge of tax law to educate individuals and business owners on Tax Compliance and Internal Controls & Risk Management.
