Wednesday Weather: 8/31/2017 Windy and…

Winds kicked up a bit in Wilson County on Tuesday, but meteorologist Mike
Strickler from the National Weather Service in Raleigh says Wednesday
things should be calm. “The winds we were expecting to come to the
eastern part of the state went to southeast VA.,” Strickler said. “At one point
winds were up to 40 miles per hour Tuesday. But now the winds are at
about 10 mph. That isn’t bad at all.” Strickler said Wednesday should also
be dry.
