White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer Has Given Up. Sarah Huckabee Sanders Takes Steps In.

Why did Sean Spicer Resign?

Sean Spicer has given up on his duty as White House Press Secretary. 6 months into the role as the spokesperson for the Trump Administration, white house turnover has increased with the resignation of Mike Dubke as White House Communications Director, the termination of FBI Director James Comey, and now the resignation of White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer. Sarah Huckabee Sanders is now the new White House Press Secretary.

According to The Guardian, “Spicer stepped down after the president reportedly tapped Anthony Scaramucci, a New York financier, and longtime Trump supporter, as the new White House communications director.”

Since May, The Trump Administration has been without a communications director. The role of the communications director was taken up by Spicer and moments ago on today, July 21st, the White House is without a Communications Director and Press Secretary.
